"We stand by content protection technology as an important tool to protect our intellectual property rights and those of our artists."
No, no, no!!! Your tool to protect IP is the legal system. Stop crippling products, or your customers will leave you. I want to be able to freely copy songs from CDs I have purchased to/from my computers/devices, in non-DRMed MP3 format. Anything else is a hindrance to my fair use rights. I am not a thief, Sony! I don't rip and upload for others, nor do I download illegally myself. Its a matter of fair use for a product I paid for. The shoe is on the wrong foot: stop stealing from me! Until you stop DRMing, you haven't learned the real lesson. - Posted by: techboy_z Posted on: 11/11/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
