OS Flame Wars!
Okay. Enough already. Any OS, no matter which, is VULNERABLE at some point to infection/rooting or just plain stupidity. Only an IDIOT would run ANY OS without security patches, updates to apps, and bugfixes! As to the vulnerability/bloatedness/whatever other bone you may have to pick with any OS you tend to hate/dislike/not use or whatever, is so NOT a factor. Everyone has their favorite, and whatever someone else says, you just aren't gonna switch over UNLESS you see some overriding reason for it. Whatever OS you use, as long as it does what you want it to, that's all you really have to worry about. You pick the OS you use on a daily basis based on what YOU want it to do for/with you, and it runs the apps and whatever other services it provides because they are the 'best fit' for you. If you run Windows, you must like it, or you wouldn't run it. If you hate it that much, then switch to whatever spins your crank, and gets the jobs you need done, done. I am getting pretty sick and tired of reading all this 'Flame Wars' crap about Windows vs Linux vs Mac vs BSD vs some other OS. If you idiots have all the time in the world to run off at the mouth like soup sandwhiches, then maybe you should get a life and get out from behind the keyboard for a while! Sheesh! All I keep hearing is 'Windows sucks and has cooties!', 'Linux is screwy and hard to use!', 'My OS can beat your OS with its' arm tucked behind its' back!!!!' and all that other sh-t! I'm getting mighty sick and tired of hearing you supposedly intelligent individuals, that are supposed to take care of your machinery and administrate your server/desktop workstation/s, spouting off like a group of children! That's one of the reasons WHY they make more than one OS! Choice. And the reason why someone chooses the OS they use may NOT be YOUR cup of tea, and you don't WANT to use OS-X, or Windows, or Linux or BSD because it JUST DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU!!! So SHUT YOUR CAKE HOLES, and act like maybe you have an IOTA of common sense, stop harping at one another and talk about the topic of the ARTICLE and NOT 'My OS can do that better and blah blah blah!'. I come here to read the articles and hope that someone has a comment or contribution to solving the problem, and not a friggin' FLAME WAR! Pretty soon you'll drive away the last few people that might make a contribution to the topics, and this place will just be another useless board with crud for content, and no one will read it because of all your endless and mindless chatter! Grow up.
