And when a patch IS released...
And when Apple does release a patch, it won't be a simple patch to the affected file: You'll have to download the entire ~20MB Quicktime 7.0.x setup package all over.

And you gotta love how Apple tries to get you to download iTunes along with it -- you gotta go out of your way to hunt for a link to the "standard", non-bundled installer.
