- Opera, Mozilla, Firebird and IE

Opera is cool ... but it renders things funny sometimes. It seems to not support borders with styles sheets, and a couple of other annoyances. Also, it follows the standards pretty closely, so sloppy HTML will fail in it.
Mozilla is great and it follows the standards. However, it is more tolerant of sloppy HTML. It has much the same features as Opera (tabs, mouse gestures, etc.) either out of the box, or as optimizations. Plus, Mozilla has a whole suite of tools ... mail and chat clients, debuggers, editors, etc.
Firebird renders exactly like Mozilla, but has the user interface configurations of Opera ... lots of drag and drop.
So to sum up ... Opera has some great user interface features, but is a little sketchy on the rendering. Mozilla and Firebird render better. Firebird's browser has Opera-like drag-and-drop, and Mozilla is full suite of (browser, mail, chat, HTML editor).
IE follows the standards okay ... but most Microsoft developers write sloppy code that only runs in IE. That is why there are those IE-only sites.
