Sony's antipiracy may end up on antivirus hit lists

Mealy Mouth

Kaspersky is being mealy mouthed about this issue--screw Sony, any (emphasis on any) Company/software/whatever that installs a program on my computer without my knowledge and/or without informing me of what they are installing and how it will be used is malware/spyware. Sony may have done it out of stupidity and greed, but ignorance of the law (or computer programming in this instance) is no excuse. So far, no products of any real quality have come from the Brits, it continues. How they can justify their software with a straight face given today's identity theft, spyware, malware, and spam issues?

I have cancelled an order for a Sony car radio, and will not buy any CD's or DVD's branded with a Sony label. I'll be very careful of any other's I buy; matter of fact maybe I won't buy or rent any brand until this issue is settled.
