Not quite...
I am not going to do your homework for you, but a while ago I did look closer at some of the holes that Apple fixed a few months ago. Hint: Do a Google search on the fix ID until you get a site that shows the vulnerability in detail, including the original discovery date (usually NOT an Apple website). Here's a list of patches to get you started.

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61798

When you do a search on some of the security fix IDs, you will find that a lot of them were already a few months old when the patch was finally released. I think I even saw one that was something like 5 months old.

Just because Apple does not tell you upfront when the hole was actually discovered, does not mean that it was discovered the night before the patch was released. Do you really think that in the patch a few months ago that contained 44 fixes, that those bugs were only discovered a few days before that monster patch went out?

As usual, Apple is spinning the image that they are more secure than anyone else, and they are doing this by witholding important info from the public. And you and every other Apple fanboy are falling for it.

Just scratch the surface a little bit deeper and you will find that things are not so rosy with Apple as they tricked you into believing...
