First, I appreciate the apology in the other post.

Not obvious, as it is not true. Especially since you failed to state why.

I see you wrote "genuine hackers". That's like "genuine cops", "genuine politicians", etc.
They are humans. Some are good. Some are bad.
It's that simple.
Some people are hackers (let's ignore the whole "cracker" / "hacker" thing).
Some of those hackers use their skills for good. Some don't.
What the media does with their information to make money is another story too.

As for the SEALs - of the many I know, my best friend is also one. Back in the 80's when he broke his knee, he yelled like a sissy. I told him I've broken 6 bones and didn't yell that much. (He's been stabbed in the face though [Beirut], I haven't. I figure that hurt.) They're good guys. No denying that. But like I said, they WISH they were Ds. Deltas are the ones that I would not even begin to mess with. I would back off in a heartbeat from a Delta. If one of them wanted my money, and I had a knife and the Delta didn't - I'd drive him to my bank.
