It is called BIGOTRY
There is no way around it. We are discriminated against soley on our knowledge...yet businesses know that we are exactly who they need to fight off cyber criminals.

Ever notice that "discriminate" and "criminal" share in similar spelling?

The sad thing is that there are not all that many genuine hackers, yet there are hordes of thugs whose activities result in our demonization by society.

Army Special Forces and Navy SEALs are considered heros, yet hackers (we do the same things in cyberspace) are considered evil. Now anyone who knows specops veterans know that these could be very dangerous people (Osama bin Ladin's chief security agent was a former Green Beret who turned to using his skills and knowledge to support a terrorist). Yet, nearly everyone who knows these people personally know that you can trust them with your very life.

This is called the Information Age. It is strange that knowing a particular kind of information can result in our being labelled a criminal or evil, soley because of what we know and what we could do with that knowledge.

Just people on their moral values, not on their skills or knowledge.
