That's not an uninstall!!!
That's just an "upgrade". They say to keep checking back. Besides, I'm not so sure I trust them to uninstall this. It's really sad that greed and stupidity seem to rule the business world today. Some bean counter at Sony corporate probably got a nice yearly bonus after convincing them of all the money they could save. I say if they would have just charged a reasonable price like 10 to 25 cents per copy for mp3 downloads, probably only 5 or maybe 10 percent of the people would try to download free.
Most people are honest and would prefer to get a good legal copy as long as they're not getting ripped off. These companies want to charge $1 or so a download (just about what the songs cost on album) without even having to burn and distribute the albums and covers, etc. The sad fact for them is that they are no longer needed. If a few of the musicians would get together and form their own company and site, they could cut out this middle man. I think that is the only way this will be resolved. Instead, they've wasted millions of dollars in lawsuits, writing programs, going after kids burning copies, etc. They just don't want to accept reality. THEY ARE NOT NECESSARY ANYMORE.
