Par for the course for Sony
it comes as no surprise from the case co-defendant for CD price-fixing for the period of 1995 through 2000 and the company that threatened programmers who sold aftermarket programming for the Aibo (leave our dog's programming alone we'll publish and profit from behavior add-on software ourselves not homebrewers), and the we've lost court case against Bleem for their emulator that runs our Sony games on a Dreamcast or PC but will keep taking the developers to court so they'll have no time to improve their code and/or stay in business (so Bleem creators closed shop) . . . yeah that Sony who's a card carrying gun toting member of the RIAA and MPAA (one would have to believe the MPAA part . . Sony Pictures). Funny Sony Music never sues Sony Electronics for making the CD/DVD devices that keep 'stealing' their content when used by those pesky consumers?

If it makes you feel any better, Sony sells PC's too. Maybe you don't just have to buy one of their cds to get the special sauce, . . they'll throw it in to boot with a PC purchase?

Great move Sony. Hope you sell a ton of PS3 next year. I'll try not to play any of your copy protected CDs in it, or any other. Hope you at least provide a Linux kit for it, but who knows, you're Sony. sad
