Since the Sony DRM software sets up the hidden rootkit, this allows other Trojan Horse programs to easily hide themselves with the possibility of not even setting off any anti-vius alerts!

It's also so poorly written that it will consume 1-2% of your system resources without running and without an uninstall program available without also instaling additiona ActiveX components. Also, if you try to remove it without being a computer expert it will stop your CD player from functioning at all.
This is bad Sony. In fact, this is such a disgrace to all your loyal customers I can't even fathom why you would use malware/Trojan Horse software...this IS EXACTLY what class-action lawsuits were designed for and I hope some lawyer pursues this one. - Posted by: lawryll@...
