Yes, I agree that the average Linux user is probably more tech savvy than Windows but that's human nature when you have a widespread solution that caters to both savvy and non-savvy users. If 95% of the world was using Linux I could almost guarantee you that it wouldn't be as technically challenging as it is now for the average novice user.

That's one of the main reasons why Linux Desktop is still way behind because it's not user-friendly enough yet...the Mac was more than Windows at one time and that's why the Education market used more Macs than Windows even though today that gap is closer.

It's not about the users being lazy it's about convenience...the average user could care less to learn these things...they just want it to work...that's the dilema that Microsoft has to deal with and has done a good job of doing but no mater what we do we'll NEVER satisfy everyone.

Remember only TECH GURU's think that way about all other users and expect the world to use their technology the way it's suppose to be used, but since the world doesn't revolve around you and I we get frustrated but it doesn't change the fact that you have to know why the other side does what they do and react the way they do.

People skills go a long way in the IT world happy
