You say: "The fact is that if a user is not using Windows, they can open any email they like, without fear of viral retribution." is false.

There are viruses on other OS's such as Mac, etc. and I'm sure others out there less popular but that's the key word "popular"...the only reason Windows is attacked more is because it's on 95% or more of the world's PC's

If the OS you use had that type of market share then it would get viruses too...period and you better be using another OS because if you're not then you're the biggest hypocrite around for bashing MS.
