No problems here
I've got a XP/2003 network at home and at work we have a good sized W2K network. We haven't had any problems. The trick in a standard business network environment is to not leave your Exchange server wide open to world (like many places do) and use tools that kill spam, port attacks, and system overloading viral emails before Exchange and other parts of the network even see them. The only weak point we have are a handful of laptops in the hands of mostly salespeople but a few simple tools like Zone Alarm Pro and regular virus updates have prevented most problems there.

I'll agree with you that MS leaves things too wide open out of the box as compared to Linux, but a good admin with the right tools can make a W2K based network just as secure.

Now, if people would just stop those bounce-back warning messages from spoofed addresses...for every infected email I get I get about 25-30 uninfected bounce backs. They're killed off as they come in too but this bounce effect is probably creates a bigger Internet-wide slowdown problem than the virus itself.
