What's even funnier!
Is that of the last three or four worms / virus's that have been zooming around the net, I have yet to see one instance in my inbox! Not one instance at all! Why, I can only speculate. Maybe it's my ISP, Earthlink, good possibility since I also have not seen any spam mail in at least 9 months if not longer.

Or maybe it's my SuSE 9.0 Linux combined with my ISP. Either way I am seriously thinking about loading one of my spare machines with Windows again, just so I can play too! I haven't gotten much mail in the last couple days from any of my friends that use Windows. So I guess I will have to resort to "Ma Bell" to find out what is going on.

I mean other than loading Office 2K onto my SuSE 9.0 Pro systems (all 3) and working on a couple of Access databases for work from my Linux systems, it's been a really boring week for me!

Well I guess I have to get back to work now. My boss knows I don't run Windows and that I can still be productive while others are too busy cleaning. patching and recovering. In some ways it's rather lonlely being a Linux user and in others it's really nice!

Yes our corporation got hit too. And we are definitly a Fortune 500 if not bigger company. I was actaully the only one that was still working unaffected when things got wierd. Only reason I knew there was a problem was people leaving the office en mass and one kind soul stopped to ask why I was still there. Then I looked over at my desktop (provided by my job, Win2K) and noticed that the stupid thing was locked with Outlook partially unrefreshed (not all parts were showing completely in detail). So I power the Win2K box off and started to pack up to leave when the boss shows up and asked if I had my laptop with me... couldn't lie as to the fact I had it in my hand. So I had to stay and keep working on a project while my coworkers went home!

I was really upset about that! I wanted to go play too, but because I wasn't running Windows and we still had some Linux servers up I had to stay and work. sad

Well that is my story, so if I wanna go play with my friends I guess I will have to load an MS Operating system!
