SCO would benefit most from an attack on SCO. They have failed to produce evidence on time for the judge in the trial against IBM, which is likely the end of the road for SCO. Diverting attention would allow more shares to be sold before the balloon goes down.
Microsoft should make it much harder to run EXEs from Outlook and OE, secure IE a lot more, and issue a security hardening patch for Win98, and all their previous products. EXEs run from OE or Outlook (or IE) should have limited filesystem access to MyDocuments\EXEprogramName+uniqueSpecifier folder only. And they should not in any way be able to access the Mail API (plus other APIs like network stack and so on).

By the way, I'm using Windows XP here, before labelling me in the way you label so many people.
Hey I also like Linux, as much as you can like any OS... they're all just platforms for the other stuff aren't they. OSX is the most beautiful.
