Tedious / Try Linux
I have to say these stories border on being very tedious and almost humorous.

The probability of this specific kind of exploit happening on Linux or Apple OSX is very low.

Those who haven't 'evaluated' these alternative platforms should seriously consider doing so.

Personally, I use SuSE Linux 10 (previously RH Fedora for about 2 years) and Firefox.

You can get it FOR FREE here: www.opensuse.org

Decide for yourself--give it a trial and see.

What is especially nice is that it will resize your partition and put it along side Windows with a dual-boot option and takes up only about 4 gigs for a standard install but you give it at least 8.

The issue of spam aside, which needs to be addressed as a 'global' internet mail protocol change, Windows has been a target and will continue to be so.

Sorry to say, but I've used it for years and am just reporting what a BIG difference switching Linux has made.

Please don't stick your fingers in your ears and say 'La La Lahhhhhhhh'. happy

Reserve judgement and at least give SuSE Linux a try! You will be pleasantly surprised.

I promise.
