- malicious payloads vs. remote controlled botnets
-
in my opinion, zotob was an extension of the ethical belief that spyware writers have. backdoor access with remote command execution capabilities for advertising, identity theft or DDoS based attacks seem, to me, most common.
the potential intent of those in control of bot-nets are what truly makes zotob seem so potentially devistating.
pre-programmed malicious payloads would be more anonymous all while sacraficing future control of infected machines.
ego may be the definative answer. - Posted by: nynetsec Posted on: 10/26/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
