Well, I have never used Symantech or any other anti-virus s/w, EVER. I NEVER had problems either.

I am just using UNIX.

Have courage people. Its only an endless cycle of klunky, ineffective repatching and a cash hemorage for all this 3rd part s/w. Just keep youe faith in the promises of MS for "Trustworthy Computing" and MVPs and LongHorn and office with XML and DRM and all these crap. Its good stuff. Good stuff.
