Terriorists
Apparently your memory of the history of terrorist attacks against the US at home and abroad doesn't extend too far back. We had ample warning that a major terrorist attack was coming through their past actions, and at least one attack on the World Trade Center before 9/11. Not only did the White House and the governmental agencies charged with internal security ignore it, but the American people slept through it until we got hit up side the head with a 2x4. And, hey, guess what, the terrorists brought Spain to its knees. One suicide bomber can take out hundreds of people or pollute our air, water supply, and infrastructure with a dirty bomb. By suggesting we can overcome by sheer numbers is sticking your head in the sand a la pre-9/11. They are an invisible enemy, blending in.

If you really believe the US Government is suppressing thought and expression how is it you feel empowered to post this message in a public forum?
