Security expert: Vendors to blame, not coders

Actually BOTH the vendor and the programmers are to blame !!!

Both the vendors and the programmers bear responsibility for the CRAP O/S's and software that exists. And yes many a dumbazz consumer is to blame for buying this CRAP. But the majority of security issues are with defective O/Ss, specifically Windoze O/Ss. These O/Ss for the most part have been illegally FORCED on consumers via violation of anti-trust laws for which MICROSUCKS has been convicted but never held accountable.

Just as with $3/gal. gasoline, if consumers are dumb enough to be exploited, software companies and MICROSUCKS will gladly empty your pockets of hundreds on BILLIONS of dollars each year.

All people need to do is STOP buying CRAP software and O/Ss and things will change and quickly. Same applies for $3/gal. gasoline. That crude can't pay the rent, pay employees, pay the utility companies, or do anything unless it can be sold. Americans as a nation have demonstrated time and again that they do NOT understand the laws of supply and demand. There ain't no shortage of gas at $3/gal. now is there???
