- Is 5 seconds really so long?

Firefox never takes more than 5 to 7 seconds to load. If people are that impatient they need to lay off the cocaine and coffee for a bit.
Anyways, IE also takes a few seconds to load. So even if FF is slower to open, you're talking maybe another 1-3 seconds. NO ONE is so busy that they do not have this paltry amount of time.
