There is nothing about your post that in any way refustes
what I said.

I said, "There's this inconvenient little fact that Apache runs
two-thirds of the world's Web sites, while IIS runs a measly
20%, yet IIS accounts for the vast majority of servers that
are compromised." You just pointed out that there were a
bunch of security patches for Apache. I knew that, you see,
because I've installed them. But the point is, these patches
almost always get installed before anything bad happens.

That's the way it is when you use open source software.
The people who are constantly scrutinizing the code
looking for potential weaknesses ARE ON YOUR SIDE! That's
not the way it is in Windows. Hackers are constantly looking
for flaws. Microsoft isn't. If they were, they might get their
patches out before any damage gets done, and there might
be fewer patches to release if they did this before the
release their software.
