You take Bill's word for it? After swearing in a court of law
that IE could not be removed from Windows without
breaking it, and that offering different versions of Windows
will trouble poor dumb users?

Microsoft currently ships at least 10 different versions of
Windows, including 2 different Windows Media Centre
versions (aimed directly at aforementioned dumb,
confusable users). Others have also shown that IE can be
completely removed without affecting the overall operation
of Windows.

I am still in awe that MS got away with lying to a court
without any, any punishment at all. But there you go,
after all, it's a court of law, not a court of justice.
