IMO the answers are:

Yes, most of the Windows PC press industry is apparently incapable of writing the words Microsoft and virus in the same article.

And Yes. Whenever you read of a new virus, if you assume that the virus only effects Windows computers, the odds are about 70,000 to 30 that you are correct.

In any event, I don't know what the big deal is about anyhow. I opened the attachments from several of these messages last night on my Mac and they didn't do anything happy
