How do they intend to verify age in this day and age? There are loop holes in every single 'protection' system these big boys come up with.

As far as the 'alliance' for interoperability? What do you get when you take the most heavily attacked IM client and combine it with the least attacked IM client ....

NO MORE relatively safe IM clients.

A few years ago ... I think we all would have welcomed this 'interoperability' ... now it's just another deficit to using ANY IM client.

Bad move Yahoo! IMHO.
