Didn't mean for you to take that literally. Apologies if you misunderstood. The site has a "search" function so you can "narrow" it down. The point is Linux has had a LOT more "releases" than Windows. And if Linux is not error free, how can anyone expect Windows to be error free?

Is this really true? Did you have a lot of problems migrating 95->98->XP? While a few of the tools have changed, the ones most people use every day have not. In fact, to retain backwards compatibility, a lot of the Win95 tools are still in XP! If anything, I would imagine XP is easier to use. Is this not the case for you? Sure, the third-party software has changed, but as you say, this is the same in Linux. The interesting thing is, 95 and XP actually ARE different OS's. XP is based on NT while 95 is based on the old Windows 3.11 shell.
