True, the article was from 2003, I can only imagine how much greater the demand has become in the last two years. If you have proof that demand for Linux AV has actually decreased, I would love to read it. I have found no evidence to support that.

Secondly, if you really believe Linux is more secure, you need to read the Secunia advisories. I already went over this with Just_Ax_Me, go re-read those discussions. On the client side, I would agree that Windows is slightly more vulnerable. On the server side, Linux is more vulnerable. That's not my opinion, that's Secunia's opinion.

Seriously, if your bank told you that your account was stored on a Linux server connected directly to teh internet without a firewall/av/memory protection, what would your reaction be? Are you really that confident in Linux's security? Would you bet your life savings on it?
