If the Internet had taken the time to be more secure then Microsoft wouldn't have this problem. People didn't know that the internet was going to explode and their were going to be mischevious individuals on it. Microsoft created an operating system, not hacking/cracking. So to put the blame squarely on MS is just plain wrong. And now they are taking preventive measures so it doesn't happen again.

Now to give you an example of people who actually do have insecure software and make people pay for to fix their broken code.. Oh yes, Red Hat does. Are you familiar with the Red Hat Network??
