How would you know if it's flawed...
When there is no other OS like it to compare it to.

Linux? No. Different beast all together. Apple's OSX? Closer, but once again, totally diiferent.

Apple's OS is written specificly for their hardware, their chipsets: their systems. Easy to secure an OS when it is written this fashion.

Windows was written from the onset to run on pretty much ANY generic machine/hardware/chipset combination.

Any complex item ever created had it fair share of "flaws" from the begining. Cars are improved apon every year. Does this mean the ones in the prior years were flawed?

Medical Equipment is forever being refined. Does it mean it was flawed before?

The Shuttle.

So, would this be flawed as the OS is so encompassing to a variety of systems, the point where it's impossible to predict the interaction of every aspect of an installation, or is it just the nature of the beast?
