KASPERSKY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE FLAW IS NOT THE FIRST ONE
I don't know why such flaws make the news that gets covered by the search engines seconds after the news get reported by prominent companies. ZDNet logo is "technology is business". But these flaws are anti-business and should be reported as such. The reason these flaws cause havoc or have the capicity to cause havoc is the power given to the hackers by virtue of the roles assigned to the clients and servers that form the part of the Internet infrastructure that is being used. Originally when this infrastructure was visulized there was no reason to think of the damage this would cause or the manner in which it would be abused by the hackers. But that manner should now be abundantly clear. The security peoplea are finding this weakness of the infrastructure a profitable business. It gives them a means to make a living. Every time a flaw is discovered it means money in the pockets of security fixers. This also must be abundantly clear to everybody.

The Technology people are unwilling to let go of this opportunity to make money. The blog at
http://www.newerawisp.blogspot.com/
explains that it is now necessary to change the client server roles if the damage caused by these security flaws is to be avoided. If this is done the business structure would be changed completely. The cellphone manufacturers will benifit in that their sales would skyrocket since they could then be used to surf the net. It would not be necessary to own personal Computers and their sales would suffer. But the personal Computer business would not die. Only the sale would be reduced since the personal Computers could be used as servers. Especially the high end personal Computers.

The biggest beneficiary of the development would be music Companies since piracy vwould become a thing of the past. The lawuers would suffer since they would not get to earn fees for suing the people being accused of piracy by the Music Company or RIAA.

Music Companies used to see the downloaders of music. Last month they sued Baidu.com the chinese search Engine alleging that the search engine made it too easy to download music. Only if the lawyers of the defendant knew that RIAA and the music Company has the power to end the piracy if they wanted to by providing financial support the development of the new browser.
