Off topic but...
"A remote attacker could exploit the flaw by sending a malformed CAB file. The CAB file could be sent in an e-mail, for example, and once the Kaspersky antivirus scanner had accepted it, the malicious code would run without user interaction."

Claim 1: A remotely connected computer.
Claim 2: Computer from claim 1 sends a compressed file in CAB format.
Claim 3: Claim 2 in other compressed and uncompressed formats.
...

What's the difference between this idea and say 1 click ordering or "Sending an email in response to an sms?" (European Patent Application N? 01870057.5-2416, which was granted *after* the parliament decided not to permit software patents).

How do you think http://www.sms2email.com/ feel about EPO's civil disobedience?
