Apple plugs 'critical' holes in OS X

Hmmmmm...Let's take a look at this shall we.

Both Windows and OSX have patches and secutiry upgrades. I
think over all Windows has had more but hey Windows is older
than OSX.

Still one would think a child just learning to walk would have
more stumbling problems than a middle aged man of 35? But
you know maybe the guy has been drinking and that explains all
the stumbling...:)

Now OSX has been upgraded and patched BEFORE any malware
has infected her? In fact there does NOT seem to be any
malware for OSX yet...Cool! Windows record on this account is
spoty at best and well shamefull at worst. After all with all that
income and all those programers and all those beta testers
(Users) one would think that finding issues and fixing them
would be done well BETTER!

Now I know that there is a claim that there is no malware
because Mac's have so small a market share....well let's just say
that is the truth....SO? Not having to worry about malware from
the start and seeing you company of choice keeping up with
holes found and patching them even though they as a rule have
a far smaller budget than oh say MS and fewer programers and a
lot less beta testers well then I must say even "IF" I give you that
arguement I'm still impressed.

Since the OTHER proof of security is actually the amount of holes
a given system has or had it should be easy enough to total the
two between OSX and Windows the only question is where do we
start? We can start with OSX 10.0 but what about Windows? Do
we start with Win95? 98? ME? 2000? XP? I decided to skip the
Win3.1 stuff and believe it or not there was a Windows 2.0
before 3.0 and 3.1. So the question is where is the fair spot to
start for Windows? and then OSX is what now 5 or 6 years old
and take the same amount of years for Windows and total the
holes found? Anyone up too this?
