This ocx has been replaced although one can easily get there hands on the flawed version. But, as you said even if they did, it won't silently install anyway. Also, the finder could never actually make the buffer overflow in the filename property execute any code nor could others that posted on the flaw. This is one that has proven to be a risk in theory only. The easy work around, if one was actually needed, would be to set the kill bit.
