Its a given that ALL software has vulnerabilities.

The fact that Firefox problems are fixed in weeks instead of the months it takes MS to fix IE flaws is a very important factor.

Would you say that it wouldn't matter when comparing GM and Toyota if you found out it takes one weeks to issue recalls vs months for the other?

Security is a concept, not a reality.
