Your justifications are delusional at best

I didn't have to read through your entire post to immediately decide to respond. Your initial comparisons are fraudulent, and the conclusion you draw is asinine best.

Quotes:
“How many times have you borrowed a magazine from someone?”
“How is that any different than loaning your install CD to someone? Your lawnmower, your car? Surely you have borrowed something from someone.”
“What about a book, you buy it read it then turn around and sell it again (at a loss of course) but you are selling someones content, someone elses labor. How is that any different?”

FACTS:
Borrowing a single psychical item in no way equates to your parallel. The items you make example of can only exist in one place at a given moment it time.
Your poorly thought out comparison of “loaning” someone your install CD, in reality, is more akin to somehow stealing a second (third, forth) item from the point of purchase and giving it away. Your comparisons defy logic; they can only be called excuses.

Your rant about the cost of software is equally meaningless. I want all sorts of things I can’t afford. I am also sure those particular items are over priced. But I still don’t delude myself into thinking that my opinion of price is a justification for either myself or someone else to steal those items. To go a step further, you complain that a third party has access to a better price for those items, and that is even more justification to steal those items.

Excuses and justification supercede logic and reality to justify some peoples actions.
