Passphrase good but biometrics being costly will be much better.
Passprhase will be much stronger a protection but still will have similar issues as that of password (like remembering them etc).

Looking at the future, biometrics is a good solution. Some needs to pop your eyes of or cut your fingers to access the information on a system.
