a hardrive full of movie titles 'i own. Shouldn't say it cant be done. TW probably wouldn't say it wont be done.
Since there is the commodity might as well use it. Could do much the same as having a pay-per-view over cable. People want to 'own their stuff.
These collections of movies are something more of the life and times of the patron collecting them,than the relationship of author and work.They always were,they always will be.
What you know by who may be looking on.This shouldn't be a problem because movie makers can say 'see you later,just as well as anybody could.
Couldn't say I wouldn't rent a few.
