pfishing attempts
The biggest problem that I have had is that ISP's which provide the portal to spammers and pfishers don't seem to do anything about it. I have sent countless emails to abuse@....net or org or com reporting, in particular, pfishing attempts. Without exception ALL foreign based ISP's NEVER reply. In the past, most US based ISP's would reply, but over the past year I have noted that there are some who do not reply, even with an "automated reply" type of email.
I think that it's time to start cutting some of these rogue ISP's off; sever their internet connections for a while and then see how unresponsive they are to controlling the spammers, hackers, and pfishers who are clients of them.
