WELL, agree, they r killing the gold-egg-chiken
"roll out some product, but as piracy is gonna take like about 60% of that proyected income, rise the product price 60% in order to compensate", man if they just think slightly differenlty piracy wouldn't exist in first place.

to my humble point of view i see the think like this;

i'll pay 10 maybe 15 USD for a DVD / music album, i may pay 20-25 USD for a REALLY GOOD MOVIE, but please!!!! rigth now i need to pay like about 35 USD for a "decent" dvd / music album, and 40 - 60 USD for a movie, rigth now i can get my hand on a pirated copy of anyone of those by just 5 usd, ( and i must say I DON'T BUY ANYONE OF THOSE, nor pirated nor original ).

so paying something inthe middle could be good for both parts, i'll buy original and the "original" producers/makers, may win another client.

hope i xplain my point correctly.
