Let me get this right.
"To safeguard user data when an application restart is required after patching, Windows Vista can save the person's data, close the application, apply the patch and restart the application, Microsoft said. "As a result, most updates need not interrupt users' work," the company said."

Aha! So the OS, in order to NOT interrupt my work, shuts down the program I'm USING?

Look, I don't know how many of you are so incredibly overworked that you can't shut down Minesweeper while a system upgrade is in progress... and I don't know how many of your IT managers can't schedule system-wide upgrades while the offices are closed, but...

These blogs are written by people who can explain the miracle of can openers so it sounds like this:

"This device, employing a system of gears and a piercing blade, intelligently navigates the recessed surface and modifies the structural integrity of the hermetically sealed aluminum cylinder, facilitating expeditious removal of the sodium-laden sustenance held therein".

What a shameless plug for what will amount a feature maybe .1% of Windows users will ever notice.
