THE Mensa test?
There is no Mensa test per se. Mensa administers multiple tests, among them the Cattell and the California Test of Mental Maturity. There is no one Mensa test. There is an unsupervised test that Mensa will send out for people to take to give them an idea whether or not it would be worth their while to take the supervised test. The thing about the unsupervised test is that it is supposed to be timed and it is done on the honor system. An unscrupulous person could take an unlimited amount of time and perhaps even look up the answers. That is precisely why Mensa does not allow membership based on this test. If a person wants membership in Mensa, they must take a battery of tests under supervision by a psychologist or an approved proctor. If you claim you scored highly on THE Mensa test, it becomes apparent that you haven't taken the real thing, therefore your "score" is meaningless.
