This of course happens and I've disabled Active X 5 years ago and put up with the constant "reminders"; then eventually avoid any sites that use Active X since I cannot disable the warning notices.

IMHO, this was a "planned way" to introduce .NET framework to the public and is allowed to continue to build "trusted" internet sites as dictated by MS.

The only reason .NET really fell through for business was the idea that MS could be more secure than one's own business network. There are IT people who would strike you dead over that idea.

Weekly, new exploits are found and touted; and with each exploit, MS's "security features" may come closer to being a reality when they introduce their next level of .NET framework.

.NET and .MS Trusted sites will begin appearing. It's only a matter of time.
