A question for the Microsoft party faithfull
"The problem affects Internet Explorer 6--the latest version of Microsoft's Web browser--on computers running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and all security patches installed, Tom Ferris, an independent security researcher in Mission Viejo, Calif., said in an interview Monday. Other versions of Windows and IE may also be vulnerable, he said".

Well, given that IE was folded into the Windows OS at a fundamental level, in order to crush Netscape, this is ANOTHER unpatched flaw in Windows (IE flaw == Windows flaw because IE code *IS* Windows code).

Where are the Microsoft party faithfull with their "Stupid users, should have installed all the patches?" Where are the Microsoft party faithfull with their "*I* wasn't affected, I've never had a virus yada yada yada".

Loverock? Shadetree? Please, tell us how a Windows machine can be made secure whenever (like now) patches for this weeks exploit don't exist? How can other users (apart from your blessed selves) ensure they too can post to Talkbacks that "*I* never have a problem"? Oh hold on - of course! The Microsoft party faithful turn off their Windows PCs until a patch is released! That really is the ONLY way anyone can protect themsleves from the endless river of Windows worms, Windows virus, Windows Trojans yada yada yada. Unless, of course, they're using a different OS. Like all the people who are waking up to the endless Virus=go-round that is the Windows experience.
