well it's sorta bad and good...
I know about the bad credit rating, took me forever to clear mine when i had to have both Anterior Crucial Ligaments repaired, then someone got my social and all of a sudden i was working and living in TX(unfortunately for them, the surgeries and 6 months of not being able to do much of anything had already screwed my credit) I don't really see this as similiar. I think there will be a pretty decent measure of how these are reported and I think not 1 person, disgruntled or not, could cause any major damage to anyones status. I'm sure it's kind of like the Better Business Bereau and how they rate businesses. It will list the problems from said address, or in this case company name, post for everyone to see, and you do business with them knowing full well what has transpired. It's kind of a trade off in a way. On one hand, you have this report on the site, on the other hand it's a company you do business with, knowing full well of their reputation and you give it the rights as you see fit. I'm sure these filters will have whitelists of a sort you can use to disregard the service itself. I'm sure there's room for error, and they should implement a way of fixing the problem, but at the same point, pretty decent idea in many ways. Who knows, it may help, it may not, but it's at least a step in the right direction in my opinion.
