Loading Windows on to a stolen Linux machine

Setting aside for a moment your spelling errors (intentional or not), you've apparently missed the point: A thief wouldn't blow the machine away and install Windows because they don't want "linsux". They'd blow it away because an encrypted system they can't have access to is useless to them, and the machine is more valuable with a non-encrypted OS on it. Thus, from a security perspective, Linux gets the job done better: Your machine might still be gone, but the data has not been accessed.
