- It's not so much the file system itself
- but the default permissions. NTFS 5 is fine but over 90% of the home users I've seen have XP installed on FAT32. Nonetheless, locking down a windows box for network use is beyond the ability of most end users. And the registry is still a bloated mess no matter what. I won't even go into .dll's.
