Maybe I'm reading between the lines here...
but it sounds a lot to me that this is *once again* talking about a vulnerability that every operating system has -- the end user. If the end user installs an application with a very long registry key, the current antispyware programs are not designed to read the keys correctly. Hmmm. This is not a "splitting the hairs" problem or even a MS "denial" problem. This is the "same-old-dumb-user-doing-the-same-old-dumb-thing" problem. Yawn.
