What? What?
"According to Microsoft, the issue is not a security vulnerability, but a function within the operating system that could be misused."

Splitting hairs aren't we Microsoft? My unlocked windows on my house is a security vulnerability. A place that the bad guys can enter and cause havoc. The openng and closing of the window in my house is a function of the overall house. Thus a security vulnerabiltiy.

It is this type of parsing of words that gives one time customers like myself reason not to return to Windows Operating systems. I don't expect MS to run around with their hair onfire screaming, "Oh CRAP!" to impress me. These denial denials are so transparent and worthless. Just tell the truth and FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM. Oh yeah I forgot the registry is going away in Longhorn or whatever it is called so this will be a great sales point ehhhhh?
