This Is Beginning To Get A Bit Frightening
I spoke in 1999 of viruses and worms that would become so sophisticated they could communicate to the user in their language, now it's happening....these writers are getting very creative about their methods, and I'm fearful we have only seen the tip of the iceberg on what they can unleash.

We've shifted focus from browser wars now to virus wars based upon coders who keep trying to outdo each other with each subsequent release. Granted, they are attacking Windows relentlessly and Microsoft is trying to keep up filling holes, but when is enough enough? When is the "big" one going to hit that will cripple every major Windows OS no matter what version/patch that is running?

I foresee in the next ten years viruses and worms that will self-mutate to circumvent security measures, lay dormant when detection methods are run, then mutate and attack again.

Scary stuff to envision, but something must be done to stop this. I'm not saying go to Linux, or use a Mac on this one because this affects us all.
